Arlington Food Assistance Center

Arlington Food Assistance Center

AFAC is a community-based non-profit that for over 25 years remains dedicated to its simple but critical mission of obtaining and distributing groceries, directly and free of charge, to people living in Arlington who cannot afford to purchase enough food to meet their basic needs.

According to AFAC, slightly more than 4 in 10 Arlington residents in the $60,000 and under income group (i.e., as many as 42 percent or 31,500 individuals) are experiencing food insecurity. We support AFAC by inviting parishioners to donate canned goods and healthy cereals weekly as well as through special food drives held throughout the year. Visit AFAC at http://www.afac.org/.
