Tithes and Offerings
Every day presents new opportunities for
the people of God to give of their time, talents and resources.
At Trinity Church, we encourage our worshippers, members and
friends to give generously towards the pursuit of God’s mission as
discerned by this community of faith.
Such giving recognizes that it takes staff, facilities, and
ministry or program funds to equip the church to undertake and complete
its work.
God challenges us, in thanksgiving for
all that we have and do receive, to trust God enough to support God’s
church with the biblical tithe, one tenth of a person’s income.
We ask that you view your giving as an
extension of your faith life. Your active faith life has a beginning (a
time when you can see yourself getting more interested in God, in
church, in God’s purpose for your life) . . . it grows . . . and it
reaps benefits for us as well as others.
A first step towards faithful giving
(i.e., giving that reflects your fulfillment of what you say you will
do), is to make a pledge to the church.
You do not have to wait until the annual
stewardship campaign to make a pledge. Contact the church office and request a pledge card
today. Completing a pledge card enables the church to be better
stewards of God’s money by being better able to plan.
When you have submitted your pledge
card, we will send you envelopes to use. These envelopes help us keep
accurate records and report back to you your giving.
While we do appreciate those who are
willing to pledge, we realize that not everyone is ready to make the
commitment. We also welcome your financial gifts at the time of the
offertory and provide envelopes in the pews for those who prefer using
an envelope.
Commemorative Paver Bricks

Commemorative Paver Bricks are one way you can offer thanksgiving or a
lasting remembrance of a loved one and/or event.
Paver
Bricks are installed at the circular intersection of sidewalks in front
of our nave (main church entrance) doors. All persons coming for
worship pass by this circle whether they climb the stairs or use our
handicap access ramp.
Your
commemorative paver, engraved in thanksgiving, celebration or memorial,
will become a permanent fixture in this paver circle. Proceeds help
offset the expense of our recent handicap accessibility renovations.
Commemorative bricks cost $150 each, and
have room for up to 60 characters (letters, spaces or punctuation). The
inscribed text may be set in as many as three lines of characters (each
line limited to 20 characters).
To order a brick, please complete an
order form and return it (or them) to the church office, attention Kathi
Justus. Checks should be made payable to Trinity Episcopal Church,
earmarked “Paver Brick.” There is no limit on the number of bricks you
may order.
