The Rev. Kim L. Coleman

RECTOR AND VESTRY PRESIDING OFFICER

·        Presides at all meetings of the Vestry

·        Responsible for the conduct of worship and spiritual jurisdiction of the parish, especially planning and implementing all liturgical events.

·        At all times has control over the use of Trinity Church and/or its parish buildings and properties with the appurtenances and furniture thereof

·        Supervisor of all parish staff in the exercise of their responsibilities and ministries, for which they are accountable to the Rector. 

·        Leads Trinity Church as pastor, priest, and teacher, sharing in the councils of this congregation and of the whole Church, in communion with the Bishop.

 

 

Julia Deonarine  ('13)

     SENIOR WARDEN

·        Is the Rector’s advisor on all matters affecting relations between the Rector and the Parish and supports Rector in crisis management and response as necessary.  Advocates for Rector and for the staff as appropriate.

·        Serves as member of the Executive and Finance Committees

·        Has responsibility for Vestry by-law revision and maintenance; and liaison with County.

·        Reports to the Vestry monthly on parish life needs, issues and concerns.

·        Is in charge of parish life in the absence of the Rector during vacations, sabbaticals and illness.

JUNIOR WARDEN

·        Executive Committee, TSEL Board Member and Ex-Officio member of CPTS.

·        Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and improvement of main church building property, Trinity rental properties and Thrift Shop while serving as principal building operation liaison to Samaritan Ministry tenants, property managers and sexton.

·        Documents electrical, HVAC and other building systems to facilitate efficiency of operations.

·        Obtains written bids for work to be contracted and for those expenditures exceeding budget limitations, presents bids and makes recommendation to Vestry for approval.

·        Contributes to overseeing the management of the TSEL in accords with Vestry initiatives and TSEL goal and objectives.

·        Reports to the Vestry monthly (or as needed) on property/grounds and TSEL needs.

 

Corrianne Alexander ('13)

JR. WARDEN APPRENTICE

·        Works with Junior Warden to learn about and assist in the maintenance and improvement of main church building property, Trinity rental properties and Thrift Shop.

·        As needed, reports to the Vestry on property/grounds and TSEL needs.

Darcey Cuffman ('13)

 REGISTER

·        Responsible for taking charge of and maintaining official records of all Vestry meetings including minutes and materials.  (This is an audit requirement about which we have been admonished.)

·        Keeps correct entries of all proceedings of the Vestry and annual parish meetings and posts approved final copies in public location.

·        Prepares all official correspondence and notifies all Vestry members of meetings.

·        Executive Committee member.

                                             

                                              

Rhonda Spencer ('13) 

ADMINISTRATION LIAISON

·        Has responsibility for personnel policy oversight, insurances, audit compliance, and inventory.

·        Works closely with the Rector’s Administrative Assistant to insure proficient office operations.

·        Reports to the Vestry monthly on administration needs, issues and/or concerns.
