A Six-Step Decision Making Guide to Giving
First Step: Pray
Gracious Heavenly
Father, you so loved the world that you gave. Grant to me a spirit of
wisdom and revelation to recognize the abundance of gifts you bestow
upon me. Help me, in all ways to model your example in my own giving.
Bless me with the desire and will to use your gifts and resources in
ways that prosper your purposes, to the glory of Jesus Christ, your Son,
our Lord. Amen.
Second Step: Answer these questions

Sixth Step:
Giving is essential
to God’s plan for our abundance and blessing. If you plan neither to
give time, service (e.g., attendance, participation, leadership,
prayer), money nor grace (unwarranted favor) to Trinity in 2006, pledge
to begin praying about where God is leading you to give and commit to
following where God leads.
