        If you would like some answers to these questions then this is for you!

       You are invited to think about any or all of these areas and come prepared to get answers from our            clergy, music director, and other parish leaders. **

   Every year, Trinity holds it's Annual Parish Retreat at the Shrine Mont Conference Center in Orkney Springs, VA.  Nestled among the trees at the foot of Great North Mountain in the Shenandoah Valley is the beautiful, serene community of Orkney Springs.

Come one and all for a weekend of rest, relaxation and restoration.

 

*     For those seeking unencumbered rest - come, find your  favorite rocking chair. 

*     For those desiring more stimulation and direction, we offer creative activities.

*     Everyone is invited – individuals, couples and families with  children of all ages – to a refreshing weekend in the mountains.  There’s something for everyone. 

*     Saturday afternoon free time or organized activities: porch sit, hike to the cross, hike to North Mountain, golf at Bryce Mountain (fee), horseback riding (ages 8 and over, fee), board games for all ages.

 

We want everyone to attend.  If you desire financial assistance to make this weekend economically feasible, please contact  Trinity’s Interim Rector, the Rev. Bill Newland at 703/920-7077. 

 

Most recent weekend Rates: Ages 3 and under attend free but must be registered. Ages 4-7, $40.  Ages 8-12,  $90; Double adult occupancy - $140; Single occupancy (limited availability) - $158.  We offer a special rate for Trinity regulars who are first time Shrine Mont Retreat attendees.

Saturday

7:40-8:00am           Morning Prayer

8:00-8:45am           Breakfast

9:00-12:30pm         Morning Programs

12:00-12:15pm      Mid-day Prayer

12:30pm                  Lunch

Afternoon                 Free time or organized 

                                  activities

          Porch sit, hike, golf (fee), horseback riding for

          ages 8 and over (fee), board games for all ages

4:00-5:15pm          Episcopal Tea

                                 (bring snacks to share)

5:30-6:15pm          Dinner

6:30-8:00pm          Evening Activities

                                 (i.e Talent Show, Bonfire etc.)
