Newcomers’ Welcome
Dinners are informal, lighthearted events that give you a chance to meet
the “Parish Bigwigs” up close and personal.
|
Talk with the Rector over home-cooked lasagna. Hear the life story of
our Senior warden as you get a personal church building tour.
Play at least one game. Relax and have a great time. |
 |
Past events included the Fall
Feast with Betsy’s Momma’s Lasagna (classic Italian lasagna with a
secret ingredient) and the February Luau featuring Hawaiian Crock-pot
Pig. Attendees of previous dinners have been suggesting the themes and
menus for the next dinner. Hope to see you there! Watch the newsletter,
announcements, and your mail, for invitations to the next Newcomers’
Welcome Dinner.

Annual Parish Retreat
Every
year Trinity parishioners gather together in Orkney Springs, Virginia
at the Shrine Mont Conference Center for the parish’s annual retreat. We go for the fun, fellowship and
spirituality.
refreshment.
All
are welcome – members, friends, guests, young, old, married, single.
Costs range from $58 for kids age 4 and older to $130 for an adult with
single occupancy. But don’t let costs hinder you! We want everyone to
attend. Scholarships are available for the asking by contacting
the Rector.

Thrift Shop Annual Appreciation Dinner
|
 |
We
celebrate the ministry and success of our wonderful Columbia Pike Thrift
Shop volunteers with an appreciation dinner that honors some Thrift Shop
workers.
In
past years we have honored the Thrift Shop Day Managers, our Thrift Shop
founders, and the
current Thrift Shop Manager, Mae Kmeco.
|
You do not have to be a Thrift
Shop volunteer to attend. All are welcome – supporters and curious
alike.

opportunities, click here to access the

Coffee Hour Fellowship
Each Sunday following our 10:30 am service, we invite members and guests
to join us in the rear foyer (i.e., Narthex) of the church for coffee,
conversation and light refreshments.
This is our opportunity to connect with one another, to update one
another on life happenings, to reflect upon and ask questions about our
worship and church experience, and to have a great cup of coffee or tea.
When we dismiss service by saying “Let’s go forth into the world
rejoicing in the power of the Spirit,” at Trinity we want everyone to do
so having been enriched with the Word of God, the Sacraments and
sustenance.
To
find out how you might host a coffee hour fellowship, contact Linda
Blythe by calling the church office.

Special Seasonal Events
Throughout the year we find reason to enjoy ourselves by getting
together to laugh, to create, to serve and to eat. The following photo
gallery gives you a glimpse into our past fun and fellowship
opportunities and therefore some idea of what in store for all who come
to Trinity.
